As the holiday season approaches, the KOVH Foundation invites you to join hands with us in a heartfelt tradition that brings comfort, joy, and community spirit to those who have served our country: Adopt a Veteran Family for Christmas.
Why It Matters
For many veterans, especially those facing hardship, the holidays can be a time of stress and isolation. After giving so much to serve our nation, some veterans and their families now find themselves struggling to provide a joyful Christmas for their loved ones. Thatās where you come in.
Through this program, individuals, families, businesses, and community groups can āadoptā a veteran family by helping to provide gifts, meals, and essentials during the holiday season. It's more than charityāitās about showing gratitude, respect, and support to those whoāve made sacrifices for our freedom.
How It Works
Sign Up to ParticipateWhether you're a veteran in need or someone looking to give back, our sign-up process is simple. Families can request assistance confidentially, and donors are carefully matched with families to ensure meaningful support.
Get MatchedOnce matched, youāll receive a wish list and some background information (while protecting privacy) about your adopted family. This helps personalize your support and create a memorable experience for all involved.
Deliver HopeGift cards, toys for children, warm clothing, holiday mealsāyour contributions go directly to the veteran families. You can deliver your donations personally or work with the KOVH Foundation to coordinate delivery.
