As we enter a new month, the KOVH Foundation remains laser-focused on our mission: to Keep Our Vets Housed. The veteran mortgage crisis continues to ripple across our nation, leaving thousands of veterans and their families vulnerable to foreclosure, eviction, and homelessness—despite the promises they were given for their service.

Too many are slipping through the cracks. Programs like the VA’s Veteran Assistance Safeguard Program (VASP) have ended, leaving a gaping hole in support. Promised protections have turned into broken silence.

That’s why this August, we are turning up the volume.

🎯 What We're Fighting For:

Immediate Congressional Action to replace or reinstate a permanent rescue program for VA loans
A National Moratorium on VA Foreclosures until such protections are in place
Increased Mental Health Support for veteran spouses and children who bear the hidden burdens of housing instability

🗓️ August 15 – National Day of Action

This month culminates in something powerful: our National Day of Action on August 15. We are mobilizing communities, advocates, and elected leaders nationwide to demand real change. Online rallies, social media campaigns, petition drives, and outreach events are already underway.
