500 Followers. One Pink Wig. Endless Gratitude.

What happens when a community bands together for a cause and a little fun?

Magic. Absolute magic.

We set a goal: 500 Twitter followers for the KOVH Foundation. And with your support, encouragement, and love, we hit it. Fast.

But let’s be real… the real prize was the promise. And Chaplain Pappy delivered. BIG TIME.

🎀 The Challenge

Chaplain Pappy — our beloved, bold, and hilarious KOVH chaplain — said he’d wear a pink wig and black lipstick if we hit the goal. It was a joke. A dare. A way to make people smile while raising awareness for something deadly serious: veteran families losing their homes.

Well, guess what?

You showed up.And so did Pappy.

💄 Real Mission. Real Man. Real Commitment.

He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t hold back. With KOVH written across his face, the pinkest wig in town, and black lipstick that would make any rocker proud, Chaplain Pappy reminded us what leadership with heart looks like.

This wasn’t just about followers — it was about family. About keeping promises. About having fun while fighting for something that matters.

🙌 Why This Matters

Every time someone clicks "follow," shares a post, or dons a pink wig for a cause, they’re helping shine a light on the Silent Crisis — the wave of VA foreclosures pushing veteran families into homelessness, poverty, and despair.

KOVH (Keep Our Vets Housed) is fighting back — through awareness, legislation, community, and people like Chaplain Pappy, who aren’t afraid to be bold for what’s right.

Let’s keep going. Together.
