🌱 Introducing the Harvest of Hope Farm Project: Growing Futures, Strengthening Families

At the KOVH Foundation, our mission has always been simple yet urgent: to keep veteran families housed, supported, and hopeful. For years, we’ve fought tirelessly to bring awareness to the silent crisis of veteran foreclosures, homelessness, and the ripple effects of financial instability on military families.

Now, we are taking the next bold step forward.

We are proud to announce the launch of our newest initiative—one that plants seeds of stability, empowerment, and community across the nation.

Welcome to the Harvest of Hope Farm Project. 🌾

What Is the Harvest of Hope Farm?

The Harvest of Hope Farm is more than just a farm—it’s a groundbreaking pilot project designed to create hands-on job training, food security, and a pathway to stability for veterans and their families.

Our goal is to establish at least one farm in every state, starting with this flagship location, that will:

  • Employ veterans and their families—providing steady income, purpose, and valuable skills.

  • Teach farming and agricultural experience—from planting and harvesting crops to sustainable practices.

  • Supply communities with fresh, local food—ensuring that what we grow also helps feed the people who need it most.

  • Serve as a healing space—where working the land provides not only income but also peace of mind, confidence, and pride.

This project is not just about keeping families afloat—it’s about giving them the opportunity to thrive.

The Heart Behind the Farm ❤️🌱

At the center of every great movement are the people who put their whole hearts into it. The Harvest of Hope Farm would not exist without the passion, vision, and relentless dedication of two of the most inspiring men I’ve ever had the privilege of working alongside.

Our very own Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the KOVH Foundation are not only leaders in name, but leaders in spirit. Both of these amazing farmers bring with them lifetimes of hard work, talent, and wisdom rooted in the soil.

  • Our Vice President pours his heart and soul into every field, every head of cattle, and every horse he cares for. His passion for farming is unmatched, and his ability to bring that same devotion into this project makes him an invaluable cornerstone of our mission.

  • Our CFO, with his vast farming knowledge and diverse experiences, has been instrumental in shaping this pilot farm from the ground up. His talents and insights have not only guided the planning but have inspired me personally, teaching me lessons that will carry forward into every farm we establish.

Together, these men have been more than leaders—they have been true assets to the foundation and this groundbreaking pilot farm. Their dedication, expertise, and vision ensure that the Harvest of Hope Farm is not only possible but destined to succeed.

Why Farming? Why Now?

Across the country, too many veteran families are fighting foreclosure, food insecurity, and financial instability. The farm project creates a solution that goes beyond emergency aid. It’s about building long-term resilience.

Farming has always been about more than food—it’s about roots. Just as farmers nurture their crops, we believe veterans deserve the opportunity to nurture their futures, grow their skills, and harvest hope for themselves and their families.

By combining the strength of veteran families with the healing and empowering force of agriculture, we are cultivating more than crops—we are cultivating second chances.

A Vision for Every State 🌎

Our pilot Harvest of Hope Farm will serve as a model that can be replicated nationwide. Imagine:

  • A veteran in Missouri growing corn that feeds his town.

  • A military spouse in Texas gaining confidence running a dairy operation.

  • A veteran family in Iowa harvesting produce that not only sustains their household but supports their neighbors.

With each farm, we are planting more than crops—we are planting hope, dignity, and opportunity.

How You Can Help 🌟

The Harvest of Hope Farm Project is only possible through community support. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • 🌱 Donate: Every dollar goes toward land, tools, seeds, and training.

  • 🤝 Partner: Local businesses, farm suppliers, and community groups can help us expand faster.

  • 📣 Spread the Word: Share our mission on social media to inspire others.

  • 🙌 Volunteer: As farms grow, so will opportunities for community hands-on involvement.

Every contribution—big or small—helps plant the seeds of hope for veteran families in need.

Together, We Can Grow Hope

This is more than a farm. It’s a movement. The Harvest of Hope Farm Project will empower veteran families to rebuild their lives, one seed at a time.

Because when we plant hope, we harvest futures. 🌾💚

👉 Stay tuned for updates on our pilot farm launch, ambassador opportunities, and ways you can be part of this historic project. Together, we will make sure no veteran family is left behind.

A Founder’s Note ✍️

This farm is more than just a dream—it is a promise. A promise that veteran families will not be forgotten, that they will have a chance to rebuild, to work, to heal, and to thrive.

When I first envisioned the Harvest of Hope Farm Project, I knew it had to be about more than food. It had to be about dignity, opportunity, and the power of community. And thanks to the incredible leadership of our Vice President and CFO, that vision is no longer just an idea—it’s becoming a reality.

To both of these extraordinary men: your passion, your talent, and your dedication inspire me every single day. You’ve been the backbone of this project, and I am so grateful to walk alongside you in this mission.

To our supporters, partners, and community: this is only the beginning. Together, we can change lives.

Together, we can keep our veterans housed, nourished, and hopeful. Together, we can grow futures.

With gratitude and determination,

Amy Tilley
