In the spirit of honoring our brave veterans and showcasing their remarkable stories, the KOVH Foundation proudly presents Shawn Wilkes, our September Veteran of the month!
Shawn Wilkes, a disabled Florida Army veteran, is facing severe financial hardship and urgently needs our help. A devoted single father to an amazing autistic son, Shawn served this country with honor as a 19D Cavalry Scout from August 1999 to August 2002. Now, after giving so much, he finds himself in desperate need of assistance.
With an impending deadline of 08/23, we urgently need to raise $270 to cover Shawn's electric deposit and prevent his power from being shut off. Beyond this immediate need, additional funds are crucial to help cover groceries and basic necessities for Shawn and his son.
Shawn has always stood up for his country. Now, it's time for us to stand up for him. Please join us in ensuring that this brave veteran and his son get the support they need to get through this difficult time. Every dollar counts.
Join us in celebrating Shawn, KOVH Foundation's September Veteran of the month, and let his story inspire us all to stand in solidarity with our veterans, support veteran families, and work towards a brighter future for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Together, we salute you, Shawn, and all our veterans!
